Look at the back of your cable box comast of "Audio Output". You can use a number of options.
Red / White - up
Orange - Digital Coaxial
square hole plastic - Digital

Then you look at the back of your system's Blu-Ray and see what "audio" options.
If you use a digital option, you get digital sound real when they are available. If you are red / white composite NO.
It is also possible that you have to go to the menu of the cable box and tell them you want to use the audio "out" port, you have selected. You must purchase the appropriate cable, depending on what your cable box and Blu-ray receiver.
Once the connection is established, you change the Blu-ray whatever "sound" that the elected (should say something like "TV", Aux, VCR, DVR, etc ...)

yes ... I do not know what is up for entry into Blu-ray, there are two possibilities.

If the receiver has an HDMI, take an HDMI from the Comcast box to the receiver, then another HDMI, your TV and everything will be alright.

simple:
Leave everything as it is today, take a red / white RCA composite from your TV with surround-sound system entry. If you watch TV, the surround-sound system with TV input setting and you're done. You should also in the TV menu UR, to see if we can determine that "switches Fixed audio and then the volume of your TV off.
