Recently I received an offer in the mail from Sears, a slide scanner and digital film. Has anyone used this service? Is this a good piece of hardware?

Is this a special slide scanner is a flat film or a film and slide adapter?
If a scanner is designed specifically for slide and negative film, depends on what price and compare prices.

The reason is that the plan is a pane of glass between the scanner optics (lenses, sensors, etc.) and the slide / negative have.
